Carestream Dental has released the Neo Edition of the CS 7200, the imaging plate system sized to meet the daily intraoral X-ray needs of oral healthcare professionals seeking the comfort of film with the ease and accuracy of digital, whether they own a single chair or multi-operatory practice.
This new update enables the CS 7200 to be used in a shared configuration to process images from multiple operatories, making it a future-proof solution that can grow with practices as they expand.
Scan & Go
It also allows for the Scan & Go workflow, once only available with Carestream Dental's CS 7600 imaging plate system, which uses Smart Plates to prevent mix-ups and reduce operation time.
Thanks to this technology, plates are preidentified electronically so they can be scanned in any order and are then automatically sent to the correct patient file. Afterwards, the plates are ready for reuse and can be used hundreds of times.
True high resolution imaging
The CS 7200 offers one of the highest true resolutions on the market of up to 19 lp/mm,* without compromising image quality. Image processing delivers sharp, optimised contrast and low noise images. Additionally, the CS Adapt module provides pre-programmed anatomic filters that help the practitioner view images the way they're most familiar with.
At just 130mm wide, the CS 7200 features a slim, vertical design that's designed to fit into tight spaces and minimize the scanner's footprint. The CS 7200 features flexible and comfortable plates—available in sizes 0, 1 and 2—ideal for daily intraoral indications—covering periapical, bitewing and paediatric exams.
The CS 7200 Neo Edition joins the CS 7600 in Carestream Dental's family of imaging plate systems.
