Japanese dental materials manufacturer J.Morita Corporation publicly celebrated its 40th anniversary in Australia by creating "A truly Japanese experience" for its best customers in Sydney in September. The evening event was hosted by Lexus of Chatswood, another Japanese icon, and the 150 guests were treated to traditional fare, product demonstrations, prize draws and new cars at great rates.
As evidence of J.Morita's continued growth in local markets, the company privately announced the formation of J.Morita Corporation Australia & New Zealand as of October 3. The new Company will be responsible for the sales, marketing and education for the Morita Product range in Australia and New Zealand which is distributed exclusively through the Henry Schein Group (Halas Dental, Henry Schein Regional and Henry Schein Halas Equipment).
Initially, the team will consist of Mr Lindsay Forrest as General Manager, Ms Donna Sampson as Sales and Marketing Manager and Mr Craig Cannons as Technical and Training Manager.
"The new organization will focus on assisting their distributors to attain their joint goals of growing the Kuraray Clearfil range of resin materials, the Morita Endodontic Programme and the Morita range of chairs, x-rays, handpieces and small equipment," Mr Forrest said.
"Morita have been distributing their products in Australia and New Zealand for 40 years and this latest development will benefit both the profession and the industry in ensuring that the full range of Morita dental products are available to all. The customer service and back up will be second to none and offers greater confidence to our valued customers."
