Ivoclar Vivadent donates $100,000 to flood victims

Philanthropy, Charity and Volunteering

Recognising the devastation caused by the floods and cyclonic conditions that were experienced by so many families and communities recently, Ivoclar Vivadent Australia has approached Variety with an offer to assist children and families affected by this natural disaster.

Ivoclar Vivadent and Variety have joined forces to establish the Ivoclar Vivadent/Variety Dental Relief Program aimed at those in need that were affected by the recent flooding across Queensland and Victoria. "We were shocked and saddened when we saw the television coverage of the floods in Queensland and Victoria and days later, the shattering effects of Cyclone Yasi in northern Queensland," said Mr Phil Jolly, Managing Director of Ivoclar Vivadent Australia. "We just wanted to do something to help these communities." Ivoclar Vivadent Australia's donation will be delivered through the provision of 400 x $250 dental vouchers that may be claimed by families of children in need. These vouchers will be redeemable at any dentistry clinic with costs paid via the fund. Assistance can be requested via Variety Queensland on (07) 3367-6999 or Variety Victoria on (03) 8698-3900.
