Ivoclar Vivadent's CEO Robert Ganley has been acknowledged by the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) for his leadership and service to the dental industry.
"Robert Ganley is truly a visionary who transformed the dental technology landscape by innovating disruptive processes, technologies and products that altered the profession," said Dr Leonard Kobren, chair of the ACP's Education Foundation. Mr Ganley was not only leading the charge for quality and aesthetic dentistry, but he was also committed to supporting education and improving access to oral healthcare for underserved populations. Among many other things, he was the initiator for the Wisdom Tooth Project in the US, which strives to improve the lives of older adults especially vulnerable to oral disease. Ivoclar Vivadent is a global leader in innovative materials and processes for quality, aesthetic dentistry. The company employs over 3,500 people and operates in over 120 countries throughout the world. Ivoclar Vivadent is headquartered in Schaan, Liechtenstein. The American College of Prosthodontists is a not-for-profit organization representing the interests of prosthodontists, laboratory technicians and students. It is headquartered in Chicago and has more than 3,800 members worldwide. Mr Ganley has now moved to the company's Supervisory Board.
