Invisalign Australia has commenced offering up to 25% discount to practices prescribing large volumes of their unique system of orthodontic treatment to their patients.
“High end users will now be charged a fee of $2,250 for a two arch case – almost half the normal fee of $4,000 charged when Invisalign® was first launched three years ago,” said Mr Mark van Weelde, Managing Director of Invisalign Australia. “This has reduced the patient fee to around $6,000 for some practices - about the same as ceramic braces. If you were considering orthodontic treatment, which one would you choose?”
Mr van Weelde said that discounts ranged from 10% up to 25% for high volume “Platinum” users.
Align Technology Inc, the company behind Invisalign has been ranked the 8th fastest growing technology company in North America in the 2004 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 with revenues growing almost 30,000% in the five years from 1999 to 2003. The list was topped by Google.
“The top ten ranking for our parent company shows the enormous appeal of Invisalign to overcome a lot of the stigma and concerns adults have with undertaking conventional orthodontic treatment with braces,” Mr Van Weelde said.
There are now over 230,000 patients in treatment with Invisalign and over 28,000 orthodontists and dentists trained to offer Invisalign. In Australia, more than 250 orthodontists and dentists offer Invisalign. Invisalign Australia is holding its next accreditation seminars for practices in Sydney on Thursday, 10 March and Auckland on Friday, 18 March 2005.
