Integrated functions make Teneo a true expert – especially in implantology. Many implantologists have already come to appreciate Teneo's qualities. The premium treatment center from Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centers has allowed the familiar steps of implantology treatment to be performed by setting speed, torque, and sterile coolant. To further optimize processes, Teneo has been enhanced in many ways just in time for the IDS.

One new feature is an integrated implant database. It allows common implant systems to be displayed clearly using Teneo's user interface. Since only the latest data approved by the manufacturers is displayed – removing the need for complicated manual settings – a high level of safety is achieved, even for dentists who have just begun establishing implantology in their practice. Another important advantage is the reduction of external tabletop devices. Such devices do not need to be set up and then cleaned after treatment, resulting in time saved. Moreover, no additional drive unit (foot control) is needed for the motor.

Small details have a big effect

Handling was simplified even more for the required devices such as the motor hose, the peristaltic pump, and the coolant pump. Focus is on easy attachment and cleaning – this also saves time and improves hygiene.

A Sidexis plugin also allows the important parameters to be displayed on the monitor mounted on the support arm. The dentist does not need to turn toward the user interface during treatment, as he can view all data required for inserting the implant by just turning his head slightly – using the foot control offers additional support. After completing the operation, an implant report can be compiled in Sidexis as a PDF file for documentation.
