After a successful launch in 2017, the Indonesian Dental Exhibition and Conference (IDEC) will return from 13-15 September 2019 to help improve Dental Health Standards in Indonesia through Scientific Education Seminars for dental professionals and an Exhibition with the latest products, services and solutions from international manufacturer, distributors and traders.
Co-organised by the Indonesian Dental Association (PDGI) and Koelnmesse Pte Ltd/Traya Eksibisi Internasional, the Indonesia Dental Exhibition & Conference (IDEC) 2019 will be conducted at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, from 13-15 September 2019. The first edition of the show successfully delivered a central networking platform for the Indonesian dental industry. 229 exhibiting brands, 5 national pavilions from 13 countries and 4,015 visitors from 30 countries participated in the very first IDEC. Following in its footsteps, the second edition of IDEC aims to once again be the must-attend dental event for Indonesian dental practitioners.
IDEC 2019 will occupy an expanded exhibition area of more than 7,000 sqm and will showcase a variety of exhibitors from dental materials, furnishing and equipment for dental practice and dental laboratory, infection control and maintenance, dental instruments and tools and other accessories and auxiliary materials for dental practice use.
"IDEC will present more than 200 exhibitors from 300 brands, 12 workshops in 3 days and main lectures with international educational points. We are also targeting to attract 20% more visitors, with over 5,000 participants for the 2019 edition," said Bambang Setiawan, President Director, Traya Events.
"As the fourth most populous country in the world, Indonesia is a market of interest for many dental companies from across the globe. This was reflected in the strong international support we received at the previous edition of IDEC with 5 international pavilions having participated from Germany, Italy, Switzerland, South Korea and China. For this edition, we have already secured two new national pavilions: Japan and the United States. In addition, we hope to have exhibitors from a total of 15 countries participating in IDEC 2019," said Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director, Koelnmesse Pte Ltd. "IDEC aims to be the must-attend dental event in Indonesia for every dental professional. With relevant scientific content at the conference and the latest technologies, services and solutions on display at the exhibition, visiting IDEC will help every dentist stay up to date with the ever-changing dental industry," said Dr drg. Hananto Seno, Sp.BM, MM, Chairperson, PDGI.
"The 2019 scientific conference will feature lectures and hands-on workshops that will focus on the needs of the Indonesian dental professional. We are currently in the process of identifying key topics, trends and speakers and aim to cover every aspect of dentistry at the conference. Dental professionals from across all of Indonesia will be able to learn about the latest treatment options and can take back practical techniques to their clinic," added drg. Diono Susilo, Chairperson, IDEC 2019.
