Laser & Digital Australasia Pty Ltd has launched the HOYA ConBio range of dental lasers at FDI Sydney 2003. The range includes both hard and soft tissue lasers which can be used for a variety of dental applications.
"This is a very exciting time to be involved with laser dentistry," said Laser & Digital Australasia Director, Saul Freedman. "The response we had at FDI where we showed the Hoya ConBio lasers for the first time was phenomenal.
"The Dentists who purchased their lasers at the FDI will undergo their initial training in Melbourne, followed by advanced training in Las Vegas at the world renowned Las Vegas Institute (LVI)."
According to Mr Freedman, Hoya ConBio's philosophy is that the key element of any laser is its delivery system as this is in the dentists hands everyday day. It should provide good access to all regions and needs to be light and flexible.
"The DELight elegantly meets these criteria and the Hoya delivery system is the very best I've ever seen," he said.
"Hoya ConBio's 30 years experience in building Lasers is exemplified by the world's most reliable hard and soft tissue laser the DELight™.
"Hoya ConBio's Lasers meet our very demanding criteria. We needed lasers that made sense from every point of view and we set out to satisfy three key areas: the best technology, reliability and affordability".
"Regarding the affordability aspect, uniquely in Australia and New Zealand we are able to offer our Lasers at similar pricing levels to those in the United States."
The other laser in LDA's range is the smaller DioDent™ soft tissue laser designed for aesthetic and periodontal applications.
"The DioDent provides an extremely attractive soft tissue solution at a low entry price for Dentists wishing to expand into Lasers," Mr Freedman said.
The company will be offering added value with Customer Satisfaction Service Commitment service contracts to further enhance the laser owning experience and provide peace of mind of ownership.
