It's increasingly recognised that super needs to be a part of your overall financial plan, not something that is separate to the rest of your money management.
So it makes sense for your super fund to offer access to other financial services you may need now, and throughout your life.
Recognising this, the innovative HESTA Super Fund, through Members Equity, is offering its members a new Members Equity MasterCard, with a low 9.75% per annum interest rate (current as at 15/11/2002) with up to 44 interest free days.
The annual fee is only $30 and will be waived after the first year if over $7,500 per annum is spent on the card. The interest rate is one of the lowest in the market, with most credit cards charging between 15% to 18% and has been achieved by not linking the card to a rewards program.
"We believe in offering our credit card customers lower interest rates," said Howie Timms, National Business Development Manager for Members Equity. "Our research shows that people would rather have a lower interest rate and interest free days than reward points - a rewards program would have added significantly to the interest rate."
