HESTA launches website awards

HESTA, the specialists in super for health and community services, has launched the inaugural HESTA Web Awards for employers in the health and community services sector.

"HESTA's Web Awards aim to recognise and reward the hard work and innovation many HESTA employers display in their web sites," said HESTA's CEO Anne-Marie Corboy.

"The Fund has a long history of supporting the initiatives of the health and community services sector and the Web Awards are a way of acknowledging employers who use technology to keep in touch with their employees, stakeholders and members of the public."

Ms Corboy said any of HESTA's 27,000 employers with web sites older than six months, are eligible to enter.

The winner will receive $5,000 from sponsors, Members Equity, a gold certificate and a tile icon for their web site. Second and third place winners will receive a silver or bronze certificate and tile icon for their site.

The Awards are supported by web site designers Reactive Media and the judging panel includes Internet guru and media personality, Ms Megabyte.

Entries for the Web Awards open today and close on 31 March 2004.
