Gunz opens Auckland showroom

Gunz Dental has opened a new showroom in Auckland that incorporates offices and a training facility at Suite 2.05, Ascot Central, 7 Ellerslie Racecourse Drive in Greenlane.

Located just off the Southern Motorway and 10 minutes from the CBD, the venue has been chosen for its central location, convenience for visitors and ample parking.

The new premises have been designed to assist customers in making their choice of treatment centre format by providing them with a feel for the reality of a dental surgery.

According to Paul McGee, Gunz Dental's National Sales Manager - Equipment, "Our range of Belmont treatment centres from Japan offer great flexibility yet are compact in different installation constraints which we wanted to showcase.

"Small surgeries benefit greatly from the features of knee break chairs, while Orthodontic practices often want a clean and simple approach with a chair only and a separate ceiling-mounted light to reduce clutter and relax the mood of the surgery."

The Auckland showroom has been designed to reflect four different surgery set-ups, a sterilisation room as well as a lab and plant room facility.

Where appropriate, each treatment centre has been 'themed' to a specialty and as such is surrounded by the appropriate technologies - many of which are built-in to the units. Visitors have the opportunity to inspect displays of handpieces and other specialist equipment and clinical products which can be handled, and in some cases trialled, on-site.

Gunz Dental called upon the expertise of Hauraki Design for the layout and specification of finishes, and cabinetry was supplied and installed by Medical Dental Cabinetry.

A training and conference facility has been designed to accommodate up to 30 guests theatre-style with built-in audio-visual equipment for presentations. Training stations enable Gunz Dental to host hands-on workshops for up to 20 participants.
