Gunz moves Victorian operations

Gunz Dental opened the doors to its new Melbourne headquarters located in Hawthorn on 10 December 2003. As Company Chairman Axel Buchner related to invited guests, the Gunz branch office and showrooms had resided in Richmond for almost 25 years.

According to Mr Buchner, back in 1947, the dental wholesale company, Rudolf Gunz & Co, first established a branch office in Melbourne. Now 56 six years later, 192B Burwood Road, Hawthorn, is the company'sfifth home in that city. On the opening night, the invited guests from the dental profession, dental laboratories, the Dental Hospital, university and armed services were able to inspect the bright, new modern offices and the attractive showrooms with lecture facilities.

Managers from Gunz Dental's head office in Sydney mingled with guests and proudly pointed out that the equipment display had been very carefully selected: Five quite individual equipment concepts are presented, from the completely restyled Belmont Clesta, named Clesta II and first unveiled at Sydney's FDI Congress, to the Continental-Delivery style Belmont and unique knee-break "communication" chair, the Pro II.

Gunz Dental has a team of seven general and specialist representatives based in Melbourne, who, judging by their obvious enthusiasm on the opening night, look forward to welcoming visiting customers from all parts of Victoria and Tasmania to their new home.
