Gunz Dental appoints new Business Manager for equipment

Gunz Dental has appointed Mr Michael Smith to the role of Business Unit Manager - Equipment, based in the Sydney head office.

In this role, Mr Smith assumes overall responsibility for the equipment division of the company, working alongside other members of the Gunz Dental management team and reporting to Mr Trevor Martin, Managing Director. Mr Smith commenced his career as a radiographer (specializing in CT) before moving into Practice Management. He previously worked at DuPont and then at GE Healthcare, both as a Product Manager and subsequently as ANZ Sales and Marketing Manager for Healthcare IT. Mr Smith comes to Gunz Dental from his most recent venture, having established his own IT company selling to and supporting Australia and New Zealand-based customers in the healthcare field. "Joining Gunz Dental is a great opportunity and my charter is to lead the most dynamic and successful equipment business in the ANZ dental market. I believe we are already seeing some changes in the way we do business and this will continue in a positive direction. I know with the experience I have we can meet and exceed all challenges".
