First Dental continues to grow handpiece repairs

Following the tragic passing of the founder of First Dental, John Toole (ADP Jan/Feb 2007), Australia's leading handpiece repairer has emerged refreshed and recharged under the guidance of his daughter, Sarah Hendry (pictured).

"Losing Dad was such a shock," Ms Hendry said. "First Dental was a business he built from scratch and was very proud of its success. There's no doubt that he would have wanted it to continue as his legacy and a solid future for our family."

First Dental provide high- and low-speed clinical and laboratory handpiece repairs for all brands using quality parts with all work completed in Australia by factory trained and certified technicians.

Since commencing starting work in the family business in 1997, Ms Hendry has been fully trained in all aspects of the business including handpiece repairs as well as co-running the company for the past 3 years.

"Our team at First Dental will continue on as we've always done and as a result, our clients shouldn't notice any change in the service we provide.

"I would also like to thank all our loyal customers for their condolences and well wishes over the past few months as well as their ongoing support. It has been wonderful to witness the impact Dad had within the industry," Ms Hendry said.

"I'm totally committed to this company and I plan to continue the service that our clients have always been accustomed to."
