The latest version of the popular Your Dentist™ find-a-dentist website located at www.dentist.com.au now includes the ability to search for practices with dental hygienists, therapists and oral health therapists.

"Your Dentist is very popular with members of the public looking to find dental practitioners," said Joseph Allbeury, publisher of Auxiliary magazine and the Your Dentist website. "So it was logical with the new version of the website to expand our coverage to include every member of the dental team.

"Hygienists, therapists and oral health therapists have a clear and vital role to play in the delivery of oral health care so their inclusion in the new version of the site is inline with our goal to provide the public with a single resource to locate the best dental practitioner to meet their needs.

"We encourage all dental hygienists, therapists and oral health therapists to visit www.dentist.com.au and click the link to the 'Advanced Search' option on the PC version or search directly from the homepage on smartphones and see if they are listed. We've used Auxiliary's mailing list as a starting point for the new service, so there will inevitably be errors that need to be fixed.

By accessing this website, you can manage the information about you that appears at www.dentist.com.au at will.

"We want to ensure that www.dentist.com.au is a comprehensive directory of all dental practitioners practices and the only way to ensure that all information remains up-to-date is to allow everyone to make changes at will," Mr Allbeury said.

"Through the Dental Community portal, dental hygienists, therapists and oral health therapists can change all manner of information at any time of the day or night."
