Federal election dental health report card questions for politicians

The ADA has invited the main political parties to respond to a series of foundational questions on Dental Health Policy.

Responses (or lack thereof) will be compiled into an ADA Federal Election 2013 Report Card.

The release of the Report Card Questions coincides with the launch of the ADA 2013 Federal Election website (www.ada.org.au/oralhealth/fe13.aspx), which will feature not only each political party's answers in full, it will also provide the latest advice on dental health issues.

Improving Australia's oral health is a key goal for the ADA.

The ADA is looking for all 2013 Federal Election candidates to commit to targeting funding for dental health to those most in need; investing in oral health promotion and prevention activities; addressing the oversupply of dentists; and maintaining the quality and safety of dental services.
