Experts line up to present at Digital Dentistry and Dental Technology 2019

Digital Dentistry and Dental Technology 2019 is only a few months away and already, close to 400 people have registered for the event on September 20 and 21 at the Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach. If you haven’t registered already, then don’t miss this great experience.

Digital Dentistry and Dental Technology 2019 brings dental technicians, prosthetists, dentists and specialists together in a single program, as it should be. Labs and clinics must work in a symbiotic relationship and this is fundamental to the format of the event.

Digital Dentistry and Dental Technology 2019 offers every delegate access to more than 100 session choices over two days that allows you to build your own program based on your needs. There is no need to register for any session, you can choose your program ahead of time, on the day or minute-by-minute.

Access to real knowledge

The interactive nature of Digital Dentistry and Dental Technology 2019 means that you have unprecedented access to real knowledge and experience from the 40+ speakers who are immersed in the digital workflow every day and the hundreds of delegates who share the same challenges you do.

Top local and international experts

This year, we welcome Jürgen Seger from Ivoclar Vivadent in Liechtenstein as the keynote speaker for the dental technology stream. Jurgen is a world renowned Swiss Dental Technician who has worked in Europe and the USA. For the past 10 years, he has been Head of the International Center for Dental Education (ICDE) at Schaan, Liechtenstein and is actively involved in research and product development pertaining to new dental materials and technology.

Another renowned digital dental technology expert, Lino Adolf, is also heading to Australia from the UK for Digital Dentistry and Dental Technology 2019. Born in South Africa and classically trained in dental technology in Europe, he entered the world of CAD/CAM in 1998 and now heads both the Academy of Digital Dentistry in the UK and Majestic Smile Ltd, a dental lab that focuses on CAD/CAM technology to produce high quality crown & bridge and implant restorations.

On the local front, Justin Elsey, the inventor of benchtop DLP 3D printers and the CEO of ASIGA, one of the hottest selling dental 3D printers in the world - all made in Australia - will again present and give insight like no other can into this burgeoning technology. If you want to learn about 3D printing, don’t miss Justin’s lecture and experience in developing both 3D printers and cutting edge materials.

Michael Tuckman, CEO of Osteon Medical, is again on the program after rave review in 2018. Michael started as a dental technician, then studied mechanical engineering before setting up a state-of-the art-milling centre in Melbourne on a massive scale. Osteon now employs a team of 28 people and mills for clients nationally and globally. If you want to know about precision dental manufacturing of implant prosthetics in metal, no one knows more than Michael and his insight and experience is not to be missed.

And of course there are many more speakers presenting at Digital Dentistry and Dental Technology 2019 who will be available throughout the event to share their knowledge and experience with delegates, answer questions and provide insights into what is coming next.

Whether you’re a dentist, a dental prosthetist or a dental technician, whether your interests are in products like intraoral scanners, bench top scanners, 3D printers, milling machines or solutions for digital dentures, digital orthodontics or digital implantology, this program will give you the opportunity to learn and explore.

Digital Dentistry and Dental Technology 2019 is designed to be a fun learning experience. Located adjacent to the Sydney domestic airport, the Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach is an ideal venue - easy to fly-in or easy to park. Accommodation is available and full catering is provided.
