Ed McLaren to head-up CSI 2012 event

Sirona will offer a stellar line-up of local and international speakers at its combined 3DX Symposium and CSI 2012 CEREC Science and Innovations conference to be held on November 16 and 17 in Sydney at the Sheraton on the Park.

Professor Ed McLaren, director of the UCLA Center for Esthetic Dentistry and Professor Don Tyndall, Professor of Diagnostic Sciences at the UNC School of Dentistry, are amongst two of the well-known presenters. Digital dentistry will be the overriding theme for the concurrent events which will look separately at the burgeoning fields of 3D cone beam computed tomography and CAD/CAM dentistry as well as their complete integration. Sirona offers hardware solutions in intraoral scanning, chairside and laboratory-based CAD/CAM and 3D X-ray as well as a complete suite of software to diagnose, plan and execute treatment.
