Dentsply move to new facilities

Dentsply Australia, the local arm of the world’s largest dental products manufacturer, has relocated its national head office and logistics centre to a new purpose-built facility at the prestigious Axcess Business Park in Mt Waverley, Victoria.

The custom-built facility has a number of unique features including a state of the art dental laboratory incorporating, for the first time in Australia, Strohm & Maier European-designed lab work stations; a fully functional Cercon. & Cergo pressable system unique to Australia and a large range of Degussa and Harnisch & Rieth equipment; a fully operational dental surgery that will facilitate training for dental professionals; training and educational facilities; and leading edge logistics and materials management processes and equipment storage.

According to the company, the relocation comes during a strong period of growth for Dentsply Australia and will mark the logistical incorporation of a number of recent acquisitions such as Astra Dental Anaesthetic (Dentsply Pharmaceutical), Degussa and Austenal.
