Dentsply Australia's Laboratory Division has reinforced its commitment to training its dental technician clients on new products with a series of hands-on training programs in four cities to launch its new KISS ceramic concept.
Mr Darryl Millwood, a Master Dental Technician and commercial Laboratory owner for the past 30 years from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, delivered the sessions on KISS (Keep It Simple Safe) in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.
According to the company, the new KISS ceramic concept reduces the number of porcelain powders by half to 73 when compared to other veneering systems, without reducing the aesthetic possibilities. "The new KISS uses an effective and economical procedure, combined with a well thought out and impressive shade concept. Nothing is easier than to make things complicated. Nothing is more difficult than to make things simple. Simplicity, not complexity, is the true path to progress."
The overall program was extremely well received and the company is anticipating this product to replicate its achievements experienced overseas. Dentsply would like to thank all of the people who attended and look forward to continuing to develop similar programs in the future.
