Dentsply hosts Creating Excellence in Endodontics

DENTSPLY Australia was privileged to host one of the most renowned Endodontic speakers in the world, Dr Cliff Ruddle, as he presented his full day 'Creating Endodontic Excellence' lecture in Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney in July.

More than 350 clinicians (both general dentists and Endodontists) turned out to hear Dr Ruddle's engaging lectures on Endodontic fundamentals which focused on access, glide path management, the latest instrumentation, disinfection and 3-dimensional obturation techniques.

Dr Ruddle's engaging and humorous presentation style was an overwhelming hit with those in attendance, as he discussed decades of Endodontic cases through a collection of amazing radiographs, custom animations and a plethora of scientific evidence. Dr Ruddle's Endodontic philosophies and his practical and no-nonsense approach challenged the attendees to candidly evaluate their own Endodontic protocols for any areas of potential technical improvement.

During each of the designated break periods, the delegates were able to access hands-on workstations featuring some the latest Endodontic products under discussion, such as the WaveOne reciprocating NiTi file system and the EndoActivator used for irrigant agitation.

Dr Ruddle is a founder and director of Advanced Endodontics, an international education centre in Santa Barbara, California where clinicians travel from all parts of the world for exposure to his unique brand of Endodontic teaching and expertise.
