Dentevents now accepting registrations

The Dentevents.com dental education calendar now includes a fully integrated event registration and management system that event organisers can use to accept registrations for their events.

"Dentevents.com is continually displaying over 350 upcoming dental events and the number of dental professionals using the site for information is also increasing strongly month on month," said Dentevents publisher, Mr Joseph Allbeury.

"Our initial aim was to offer event organisers and dental professionals a way to more easily connect by acting as an information resource.

"However, once we achieved that aim, it quickly became apparent that rather than just offer information about an event, it would be of far greater service if we could also accept registrations for the event on behalf of the organiser."

Mr Allbeury said that this led to the development of a fully integrated registration "engine" within Dentevents.com.

"At present, there is no standardised way to register for an event," Mr Allbeury said. "Some organisers require a paper form to be completed, others accept a booking request online and then request payment over the phone, others use third party booking systems never designed for the dental community.

"As a result, we have made a 6-figure investment into developing a registration solution designed specifically to help the organisers of dental education and events to accept and manage registrations."

Mr Allbeury said that Dentevents.com can now cost-effectively offer organisers of events - from an afternoon seminar to a full congress - a way of both marketing their event to dental professionals and accepting registrations, including all the subtle nuances associated with big events like workshops and social programs.

"Our fully integrated and comprehensive solution for event registration is now at version 1.0," Mr Allbeury said. "We are working with several event organisers already and subsequent versions of the system will continue to add new features for both delegates and organisers."
