Dentavision has appointed Ms Gayle Thompson as a product specialist in Melbourne for both its Tokuyama range of dental restoratives and Germiphene, Dentavision's partner in infection control.
Ms Thompson has had a long career in the dental industry starting as a junior nurse and quickly progressed to the role of Practice Manager before joining the then Regional Healthcare as a Territory Manager in 1992. "Swapping to work in the industry was a lot of hard work but I enjoyed the relationship I had with my clients. When Henry Schein became involved, I was promoted to the role of State Supervisor." Ms Thompson later joined Johnson & Johnson in 2002 managing dental, veterinary and medical distributor accounts in Victoria and in 2003 moved to their hospital division as a Product Specialist for Skin Care and Biocides, working closely with Infection Control and Central Sterilising department managers. She also completed her studies in Business Management at Swinburne University of Technology the same year. "I'm thoroughly enjoying being back in the dental fraternity working with Dentavision as a Product Specialist and it's a delight to be involved with such a progressive company."
