Dental4windows version 12 has been rolling out to user practices since May this year with customer feedback being very positive.
"Practices are now seeing the fantastic benefits coming from various version 12 functionality improvements including the Automatic Appointment Status Updates that occur when a patient replies to an SMS appointment reminder," said Veronica Emerson, Manager of Training at Centaur Software. "This is such a neat function and adds further to the time saved by practices using the Dental4windows SMS Service for Appointment Reminders. When a patient replies to the SMS with their appointment choice, the Appointment Book is updated with their Appointment Status.
"These functions save an incredible amount of time and this is just one of the many new features that make busy practices so much easier to now run."
Ms Emerson has been training Dental4windows users for many years and with her team of trainers and training administration staff, is currently running version 12 seminars across Australia. These seminars will also reach many provincial city locations with Centaur encouraging users to log onto their website and lodge a Seminar Interest form to indicate further seminar needs.
"The immense increase in functionality of dental4windows has, in turn, resulted in increased demand for training," Ms Emerson said. "I've seen hundreds of practices convert from the competition to Dental4windows in the last 2-3 years and all are surprised at how versatile and hassle-free it is to use. The ease with which users take to Dental4windows after coming from other applications continues to remind me of how well the original version was designed with that easy workflow principal maintained through its many years of development to this latest version 12."
Ms Emerson said Centaur Software has a dedicated internal team called the ICS who look after all new practice installations and as a consequence, also deal with practices converting from other applications to Dental4windows.
"The ICS team continually receives praise from new practices, both for the ease at which the data can be converted over from the previous practice management system to Dental4windows as well as how easy practice staff make the transition. Often the comments are, ‘We should have done this a long time ago'."
Head of ICS, Luis Hinojosa said "Most of the practices who have converted from other systems over to Dental4windows say to me, depending on what system they have come from, ‘dental4windows is just so much easier to work with - there is much less clicking to move around. A lack of support has also apparently been a common problem."
