Dental Financial Services appoints new CEO

Dental Financial Services Pty Ltd (DFS) has appointed Mr David Johnson as its new CEO with the specific focus of overseeing the company's new SmileCard patient finance system.

He comes from a strong financial services background but also fully understands the operation of a dental practice, having managed a highly successful Sydney-based practice for the last five years. "I see many dentists working for their practices not the other way round," Mr Johnson said. "My job is to co-ordinate the professionals that can help dentists to structure and plan to reverse this adage and really leverage their income. I am delighted to join DFS as I can see the difference that I can make to our clients personal and professional lives." Apart from SmileCard, DFS provides financial services to the dental profession ranging from legal, accounting and tax advice to financial planning, finance and investment purchase.
