IDM is timing the staging of its inaugural Dental 2005 event with the opening of the new Dental Education Centre it is sponsoring on March 11-12 this year. IDM has organized three wellknown clinicians to headline the event which will also deliver a business component to round off the program.
"I meet a lot of dentists who have invested heavily in their continued education but have yet to see a financial return from this investment," said Mr Carl Burroughs of IDM. "Dental 2005 will not only teach the latest developments in implants, neuromuscular occlusion and orthodontics but the attendees will also hear how the speakers have built highly successful practices on the philosophies and techniques they teach".
The line up for this event includes Dr David B Dunn who will present on implant dentistry; Dr Fred Calavassy, who is building a reputation as one of Australia's leading authorities on the area of neuromuscular dentistry; and Dr Derek Mahony, world renowned for his work within the field of orthodontics.
"It really does not get much better than this and it is well worth the investment of two days and $795," Mr Burroughs said.
In addition to the three clinical speakers, the business component will see Dr Philip Palmer speaking on the latest developments in practice management; Dr Yvonne Sum talking about leadership within a practice; and Mr Burroughs teaching the principles of how to build a successful practice through internal and external marketing.
