Correction: Melag autoclaves distribution

In the March/April 2011 edition of Australasian Dental Practice, an article on page 44 entitled Melag now exclusive to Biomedex failed to acknowledge that Sirona Dental Systems are also a direct agent for Melag autoclaves. To clarify, both Biomedex and Sirona are direct agents for the German-built Melag autoclaves.

Sirona imports select models from the Melag range and supplies these direct through its offices nationwide. Biomedex imports the entire range of Melag autoclaves and distributes these through a national network of well-known dental dealers. Biomedex previously shared this arrangement with a third company that is no longer an agent for Melag in Australia. We apologise for any confusion this article caused.
