William Green has successfully launched its brand new Challenger range of dental units at ADX in Melbourne with the several strikingly elegant models on display attracting attention.
"We had a lot of interest in the new range and many people ordered off the stand," said Managing Director John Green. "We've been heavily focussed in research and development over the past year to ensure the Challenger series was ready for ADX and it's had the desired result.
"Many new and plenty of existing customers stopped by and commented on how stylish the models were and how terrific it was to see an Australian-made unit that was equal to the best in the world."
Mr Green said that there will initially be four models in the Challenger range that will reflect different price points and levels of features. Each will be manufactured at the company's plant in the Sydney suburb of Rydalmere. The units will continue to be matched with the Italian-made Tecnodent chairs.
"We're a local company but we have world class facilities for R&D and access to the latest technologies to ensure our units are state-of-the-art. We also have the unique perspective of being able to cater to the needs of local dentists because we are the only manufacturer based in Australia."
The initial offering in the Challenger Series will include the budget-priced Challenger CS; the Challenger VS featuring more electronics; the Challenger MX that incorporates the new Swiss Bien Air brushless motor; and the top of the range Challenger Optima MX with a Bien Air torque control motor ideal for implants and endodontics.
"The Challenger series includes models for the price conscious starting from $19,000 that includes the chair, unit, light, an air motor and GST to models for the very sophisticated operator," Mr Green said. "All are built on a platform of reliability and serviceability that will ensure minimal downtime for our customers.
"We've field tested them over the last several months in our customer's practices and the feedback has been very positive. We encourage everyone considering purchasing new equipment to consider this new Australian developed and manufactured unit that is world class with very local factory direct support."
