CareCredit tops 1000 practitioners in 6 months

Since its launch in March 2005 at the Australian Dental Congress in Adelaide, patient financing provider GE Money CareCredit has quickly established itself in the market and now offers patient finance through over 1000 practitioners.

Simon Beckett, General Manager of GE Money CareCredit said that since the launch, CareCredit has undergone continuous rapid growth.

"CareCredit has had an extremely successful first six months since launching at the Australian Dental Congress in March this year. The res-ponse from practices has exceeded our expectations and we now have over 1000 practitioners enrolled and using CareCredit".

CareCredit offers practices the ability to provide their patients with a range of interest free and extended payment plans. Patient's benefit through being able to pay for the treatment they want and need over time. Dental practices, in turn, benefit from increase case acceptance.

"The feedback that we are receiving from practices has been fantastic. Practices are reporting improved case acceptance, lower accounts receivable and improved cash flow.

"Practices have also reported that the response from patients has been excellent, with many stating the availability of interest free finance as a key influencer in their decision to visit the practice and accept the recommended treatment."

In the coming, 12 months CareCredit has a range of initiatives planned to help drive patients to CareCredit practices. "In 2006, CareCredit is planning an above the line awareness campaign that will highlight to many of GE Money's 4 million customers where they can take advantage of CareCredit's Interest-Free terms. That means more potential patients for each of our CareCredit practices".
