As part of FDI Sydney 2003, Colgate's Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program will host a marquee where children will have the chance to learn healthy oral hygiene habits in an entertaining environment.
Vital dental information will be communicated through characters like Dr Rabbit and Active Kids, who will be performing over the four days. Once inside the marquee, children will receive a special passport and a Bright Smiles Bright Future Goody Bag upon completion of oral health education activities.
Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures has been operating since 1997 in almost 4,000 primary schools across Australia, educating children on the importance of oral health. Objectives of the program include increased responsibility in children for oral health; promoting positive self esteem; proper habits for hygiene; encouraging regular dental check ups; improving oral health through fluoride toothpaste and encouraging families to play an active role in their child's health.
