Biomedex is increasing its focus on the dental industry and supplying, servicing and supporting autoclaves in particular.
"Autoclaves are a service as much as a product," explains Biomedex's Nigel du Plooy. "Everyone wants a Type 'B' Autoclave that works first time… every time and never misses a beat. Unfortunately, they don't exist. We know because we've sold hundreds of them!

Mr du Plooy said Biomedex understands the importance of after sales service and have recently hired Mr Neil Sanderson (pictured) as their Service Manager.
Mr Sanderson is a biomedical engineer with an experience base spanning several decades, working in Europe and the Middle East. For the past 15 years he was the senior engineer for Prestige Medical, in charge of their autoclave service division for all of the UK and France.
"Our service aspiration embraces plans to offer Australia-wide coverage and already we offer support in all but the most remote areas. Our in-house engineer affords us the luxury of providing our service network with expert technical back-up and regular training. It also allows the end user direct access for day to day operational advice. As you may well have read somewhere before: At Biomedex, we are 'big enough to matter…but small enough to care'."
