Australian appoint IDM President

The General Assembly of the Association of International Dental Manufacturers (IDM) was held during the 146th Chicago Dental Society Mid Winter Meeting in Chicago, in late February.

At the meeting, Mrs Pam Clark of Cattani Australia, was invested into the prestigious role as President IDM for the term 2010-2012. IDM represents the broad professional interests of its regional member associations and has significant liaison with the World Dental Federation (FDI) and International Standards Organisation (ISO). Attending the meeting were delegates from IDM member associations including the ADIA, DTA, AMIC, FIDE, JDTA, KDTA and LADIA. Invited guests at the meeting included Dr Roberto Vianna, President, World Dental Federation and his Executive team. Also present was Dr Dan Meyer, Associate Executive Director, Division of Science, American Dental Association. Dr Meyer delivered a presentation titled "Working together to achieve future goals". Mrs Clark is also the current president of the Australian Dental Industry Association.
