August is Colgate Oral Health Month

Colgate Oral Care has announced it is again hosting Oral Health Month in August this year supported by the Australian Dental Association.

In 2006, Colgate Oral Heath Month is centered on 4 easy steps to a healthy smile which encourages people to brush with fluoride toothpaste, use floss and mouthrinse as well as regularly visiting their dentist. The main features will be a dedicated webpage, TV, print and radio advertising and includes a promotion which encourages people to visit their dentist during August by giving them the chance to win a lump sum monetary amount to spend on their dental health. Preschools will not be forgotten with a mailout to encourage teachers to conduct oral health education sessions using Colgate’s Bright Smiles Bright Futures kits. The campaign seeks to raise awareness of the importance of good oral health in the community. Dental practices in Australia will receive a special Oral Health Month Pack from Colgate Oral Care in July. The pack contains product samples and promotional material to help support Oral Health Month.
