Apology

In an article in ADP Mar/Apr 2007 on cone beam volumetric imaging by Robert Langlais, Dr Langlais incorrectly stated that there are no certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologists in Australia.

In correcting this, Dr Langlais states: "In actual fact there are specialized Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologists in Australia throughout the country. Furthermore, I believe I am myself an honorary specialist in the field as Honorary Fellowship in the Australian Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology was conferred upon me some years ago. I can offer no excuse for my mistake as I most sincerely revere the honour which was bestowed upon me and have great respect for my many colleagues and friends in Australia who are indeed radiologists. I can only say I had no intention of slighting the profession as it is in Australia and sincerely regret the mental lapse I suffered in writing the article."
