The complete range of Anthos dental units and equipment is now available in South Australia. Eddie Shaw Equipment in Adelaide, who have been a strong advocate for the Italian-made dental range for some time, are celebrating the opening of their new showroom with an open house on July 21. A range of special Anthos deals will also be available.
Anthos manufacture premium quality dental units from cost-effective entry level models through to fully optioned, high tech models featuring intraoral cameras, LCD flat screen monitors and the like. The company also makes x-ray units and a digital x-ray system. Eddie Shaw Equipment's new showroom will also carry a full range of complementary products for the surgery such as compressors, suction motors, autoclaves and more.
Anthos also has showrooms in Melbourne at Victorian Dental Services; in Sydney at R K Dental Equipment Services; and in Perth at Denquip. Service and support is also in place for Queensland and a showroom and dealer is also being sought.
"There are always two sides to purchasing new equipment," said Phil Pagliuso, principal of Victorian Dental Services and the Australian agent for Anthos. "Firstly, the equipment must be of an outstanding quality and secondly, it must have the backup service and support to keep it in prime condition.
"The network of dealers we have established to supply, service and support the Anthos range are also the same people who will be onsite to install the units and again, be there if there is a problem.
"Starting as a service technician myself, I was uniquely positioned to choose the right range of equipment to bring to Australia. The last thing I wanted was equipment that would constantly fail because not only is that not good for business, it would also mean I would be the one out there constantly fixing it.
"The Anthos range is a dream for dentists to work with clinically and also has outstanding reliability. We have installed hundreds of these units in Australia already and we have a long list of clients who cannot speak highly enough about their choice initially and the backup and support subsequently."
To ensure Team Anthos in Australia continues to provide the utmost level of service, Mr Fausto Pompei from Anthos Italy conducted a two day technical course recently. The programme included a refresher course on the A class and Gulliver units, plus a full discussion on the new Kisar Digital unit, X-ray imaging system and intra-oral cameras. Anthos dealers and technical service representatives from all states attended.
