Dentavision has been appointed the exclusive Australian agents for the American Eagle range of dental hand instruments, many of which feature the revolutionary new XP Technology that eliminates the need to constantly resharpen scalers and curettes.
"We are excited to be the new distributors for arguably the best dental instruments in the world," said Dentavision Managing Director David Macnaughtan. "The American Eagle range is already well known in Australia for its high quality, precision instruments that are lightweight and highly ergonomic. We are pleased to be able to offer the full range backed by the service and support American Eagle is renowned for."
American Eagle revolutionised hand instruments with the development of its XP Technology to virtually eliminate sharpening of curettes and scalers. The patented process hardens the stainless steel and then encapsulates the steel with a diamond-like layer. This makes for an edge that will last months without sharpening.
Because the XP curettes blades last longer without the need to constantly resharpen, American Eagle designed them to be the thinnest blades in the industry. This allows for easier access to periodontal pockets and interproximal areas for enhanced patient comfort. A rounded opposing edge reduces tissue trauma.
The American Eagle range includes, explorers, probes, pliers, Universal and Gracey curettes, scalers, files, flat plastics, carvers, amalgam carriers, burnishers, angle formers, chisels, condensers, cord packers, extractors, hatchets, knives, margin trimmers, spatulas, pluggers, wax instruments, endo instruments, retractors, scissors, syringes, instrument cassettes and more.
"We will be detailing the American Eagle range to all our clients in coming months and welcome anyone already using these great instruments to give us a call to receive more information."
