World-renowned aesthetic dentistry master Gerard J. Chiche will deliver a series of full day lectures in Sydney on June 14, Melbourne on June 15 and Auckland on June 17.
"Recipes for predictable anterior aesthetics" will discuss the key areas for efficient aesthetic diagnosis and smile design. These key points will be formulated into a simple, up-to-date and systematic step-by-step approach to resolve aesthetic problems and achieve predictable aesthetic results and improved laboratory support.
The presentation will also offer an outline of prosthetic and adhesive techniques in terms of armamentarium and products as well as practical techniques for tooth preparations, bonding sequence and cementation for all-ceramic crowns and porcelain veneers. Topics to be covered include:
- Key factors for treatment planning of anterior restorations;
- Step-by-step aesthetic analysis for maximum predictability;
- Effective rules of comprehensive smile design with complex cases;
- Communication with the laboratory; and
- Establishing a comfort zone with all-ceramic crowns and fixed partial dentures.
Dr Chiche is the Helmer Professor and Chairman of the Prosthodontics Department at Louisiana State University where he also maintains an intramural restorative practice devoted to aesthetics and implants.
