As businesses around the world mark Global Exhibitions Day on 8 June 2016, Australia's dental community has been energised by the news that the nation's premier dental event, ADX18 Sydney, will take place at the new International Convention Centre (ICC Sydney).
Convened by the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA), the ADX18 Sydney dental exhibition is the nation's largest healthcare tradeshow that will bring together more than ten thousand stakeholders from across the dental community.
"Global Exhibitions Day serves to raise awareness about the value of exhibitions to various stakeholders and there are few events that will compare to ADX18 Sydney as a business enabler. Over 23-25 March 2018, what's regarded internationally as Australia's premier dental event, will allow dental professionals to see more, buy more and learn more," said Troy Williams, ADIA Chief Executive Officer.
It seemed fitting that ADIA used Global Exhibitions Day to visit the construction site for the new International Convention Centre Sydney, the new home for the ADX18 Sydney.
"It's an exciting new venue with a striking contemporary design and leading technology that's ideally suited to hosting Australia's premier dental event in 2018 and beyond. Just like ADX18 Sydney, the venue is a beacon of innovation and learning that connects leaders of invention, business, and professional practice," Mr Williams said.
Following the ADX16 Sydney event held earlier this year, ADIA used exhibitor and visitor feedback to ascertain what the event contributed to the dental community. The data was unambiguous: for those looking to sell dental products this event remains unparalleled as a sales vehicle.
"On Global Exhibitions Day the team within ADIA are meeting to further the planning for ADX18 Sydney to ensure that this event continues to showcase the value of exhibitions to Australia's dental community," Mr Williams said.
