ADX16 Sydney Exhibition To Break Attendance Records

Australia's largest healthcare trade show, the ADX16 Sydney dental exhibition, is set to break all attendance records with the number of pre-event registrations reaching all-time highs. Held over 18-20 March 2016 in the Sydney Exhibition @ Glebe Island, more than 5,000 dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals have registered to attend an event that allows them to see more, buy more and learn more.

Combining a trade show covering some 13,000 square meters, ADX16 Sydney includes a seminar program with leading international speakers. The event is convened by the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA), the peak business organisation representing manufacturers and suppliers of dental products.

"We're all smiles because, once again, this exhibition has cemented its reputation as Australia's premier dental event," said Troy Williams, ADIA Chief Executive Officer.

Across Australia the ADX16 Sydney exhibition enjoys a reputation as the dental community's leading sales event where dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals come to see and buy the latest dental products from Australia and overseas.

"For everybody with an interest in dental products the ADX16 Sydney is a must-attend event. Every leading supplier is there and many offer discounts that are only available at the exhibition," Mr Williams said.

A unique feature is that the exhibition is free to enter, something that's welcomed by the entire dental community. A small fee exists for professionals wishing to attend the seminar program and ADIA is donating the proceeds to the Australian Dental Research Foundation (ADRF), the nation's peak dental research funding vehicle.

"ADIA's decision to donate the proceeds from seminar program sales to the ADRF is indicative of how ADIA uses the event to bring the entire dental community together. We see this as more than an exhibition, but a celebration of everything that's great about dentistry in Australia," Mr Williams said.

With more than a dozen associations representing dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals participating in ADX16 Sydney, the event is the largest single gathering of dental community stakeholders.

"That's what makes this event truly unique, it provides a platform for stakeholders across the dental community to come together, share experiences and exchange ideas - plus buy some great products," Mr Williams concluded.
