The Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA), the peak body representing the dental industry in Australia, has updated its image with a new logo and the slogan "representing dental excellence".
"The members and board of the ADIA decided it was time for a fresh image for the Association," said Executive Officer Duncan Campbell. "We are constantly evolving to meet the needs of the dental industry and broader dental community and the new branding we have just completed is a reflection of this.
"In line with the new look, we have also updated our website to be much more user friendly and deliver a lot more information. We are fortunate to be able to draw on the skills of some member companies to facilitate this and there is more functionality to come. The website will enable members and others to better communicate with the Association and access information on our upcoming events."
The ADIA has also branded its previously unnamed biennial exhibition as the Australian Dental Expo or ADX, which will be held in alternate years to the Australian Dental Congress.
"In previous years, the exhibitions we org-anised were called many different names and this made it difficult to provide a consistent message in our marketing," Mr Campbell said. "By operating all our major events under the ADX banner, visitors will have a certain expectation that will encourage attendance."
