The peak business organisation representing manufacturers and suppliers of dental products, the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA), has an impressive new line-up of state-branch leadership following local elections.
"The ADIA State Branches are a vital component of our member engagement architecture and provide a platform for members to understand and influence the commercial, technical and regulatory environment in which the dental industry operates," said Troy Williams, ADIA Chief Executive Officer.
The leadership of each ADIA State Branch is elected for a two-year term and they provide a vital link between the Association, its members and external stakeholders across the oral health community within their area of operation. Following the series of elections that concluded this week, ADIA is proud to advise that members have elected the following leadership teams:
ADIA New South Wales Branch |
President: | Tanya McRae, Dental Installations |
Vice President: | Michael Fahey, Henry Schein Halas |
ADIA Queensland Branch |
President: | Ian Shapland, Elite Fitout Solutions |
Vice President: | Steve Symonds, Leading Dental |
ADIA South Australian Branch |
President: | Leone Mackenzie, 3M Oral Care |
Vice President: | Jason Roberts, Dental Concepts |
ADIA Victorian Branch |
President: | Philip Boston, Elite Fitout Solutions |
Vice President: | Peter Mackley, Dentsply Sirona |
ADIA Western Australian Branch |
President: | Wendy Walker, 3M Oral Care |
Vice President: | Steven Lines, Mocom Australia |
According to Mr Williams, each of these individuals is recognised across the oral health community in their state as possessing considerable experience in not only matters associated with the supply of dental products, but also some of the challenges associated with delivering oral health care.
"The new ADIA Strategic Plan has a vision for an industry that empowers oral health professionals to advance the health and well-being of all Australians. The experience of the new ADIA State Branch leadership will greatly assist ADIA in delivering programmes for members that deliver upon this vision," Mr Williams concluded.
