AAAD Golf Day is a Critical Success

Over 100 golfers basked in the winter sunshine at the 9th Annual Australian Asian Association of Dentists Golf Day on May 31.

The venue was Sydney's newest and exclusive private golf club, Macquarie Links International Golf Club at Ingleburn, NSW.

Dr Dennis Teoh, President of the AAAD, presided over the day and evening, which included 18 holes of golf with electric carts, golf balls, tees, lunch, and a 3-course dinner included.

Thousands of dollars in prizes (not just for golfing prowess!) were awarded to delighted attendees. These included numerous bottles of Penfolds Grange Hermitage, Dom Perignon, Henschke, Moet Champagne, an X-Box, Espresso Coffee Machine, Palm Pilot, overnight stays at the Sheraton on the Green, and a Raymond Weil Watch, to name a few.

The grand prize of a weekend for two at the 5-star Cypress Lakes Golf Resort in the Hunter Valley, donated by the major sponsor of the day, Critical Dental, was won by the best overall golfer, Dr Chaitan Roopra from Penrith.

A surprised Dr Meng Quah-Shephard from The Chatswood Dental Practice, also won the ladies golf prize of a Polo Ralph Lauren Voucher.

Well done to all golfers on the day. Especially on that 11th hole!
