3Shape TRIOS 4 wins Cellerant Award

The 3Shape TRIOS® 4 intraoral scanner has received the 2020 Cellerant "Best of Class" Award once again. The win now marks the eighth year in a row that the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner has won the prestigious industry award presented by a panel of technology leaders in dentistry.

"The Cellerant Best of Class Technology Award recognises dental technologies that are shaping and contributing to the future of our profession," said Dr Lou Shuman, Best of Class founder and Cellerant CEO. "As an eight-time winner, 3Shape continues to lead the market with its cutting-edge innovation and easy to use functionality."

3Shape launched the TRIOS intraoral scanner in 2013. It has received the Cellerant "Best of Class" award for digital impression solutions every year since.

All TRIOS models are renowned for their documented accuracy, scanning speeds and ease of use. The market's only wireless intraoral scanner, TRIOS provides professionals with an open and unrivalled ecosystem of workflow and partner-integrations with orthodontic, implant-makers, practice management and sleep treatment providers, as well as open and trusted manufacturing options with 3D printers and milling machines.

"We are very proud and excited to win the award again this year," said 3Shape Chief Executive Officer, Jakob Just-Bomholt. "The Cellerant 'Best of Class' award is so important because winners are determined by doctors and dental industry professionals. A big thank you to the Cellerant panel for their recognition and consideration."

The 2020 Cellerant Best of Class Technology Award is selected by a panel of the most prominent technology leaders in dentistry: John Flucke, DDS, technology editor and chief dental editor for Dental Products Report; Marty Jablow, DMD, known as America's dental technology coach; Paul Feuerstein, technology editor for Dentistry Today; Pamela Maragliano-Muniz, DMD, chief editor of Dentistry IQ and editorial director of DACE; Chris Salierno, DDS, Chief Editor of Dental Economics: and Lou Shuman, DMD, CAGS, founder and creator of the Best of Class Technology Award with national columns on technology in Dental Economics, Dental Products Report and Canada's Oral Health journals. Panellists are precluded from voting in any category where they have consulting relationships. The entire selection process is conducted and managed on a not-for-profit basis.
