3M ESPE passionate about simplicity

New Products

3M ESPE has launched RelyX Ultimate - a new adhesive resin cement specifically designed for the cementation of glass ceramic materials. The product provides ultimate bond strength and leads to highly aesthetic results that last over time. Used in combination with the new Scotchbond Universal Adhesive, it reduces the number of required components and steps.

RelyX Ultimate complements the existing portfolio of resin cements and is offered in addition to RelyX Unicem 2 Automix self adhesive resin cement and RelyX Veneer Cement. When used together with Scotchbond Universal adhesive, the procedure is particularly simple: an integrated dark cure activator in the cement activates the dark cure function of the adhesive, thus eliminating the need for an additional activator.

Scotchbond Universal adhesive also functions as a silane agent for glass ceramics as well as a zirconia and metal primer, thus eliminating the need for separate components. Fewer components, fewer working steps means not only easier handling but also less risk of errors. Last but not least, it reduces your inventory.

New Scotchbond Universal adhesive is a single-bottle adhesive with a forgiving technique that offers versatile solutions for direct and indirect restorations. Dentists now have an easy-to-use, single-bottle solution that provides uncompromising results for all surfaces in total- or self-etch mode.

Scotchbond Universal offers a unique combination of total- and self-etch properties, with consistent and reliable performance in all adhesive techniques. Whether used for a direct or indirect procedure, or on dentin or enamel, Scotchbond Universal provides uncompromising performance and bond strength.

In addition to the product's streamlined procedure, practical considerations have been taken into account as well. A flip-top vial delivery option allows for one-hand operation, and the product can be stored at room temperature for up to two years. It is also available in unit dose.
