3i to distribute direct

After a successful long-standing partnership with Gunz Dental, 3i Implant Innovations Inc has made the strategic decision to establish its own direct operation in Australia and New Zealand to take effect from 2 August, 2004.

This decision now brings Australia and New Zealand in line with 3i's global strategic direction to establish direct marketing subsidiaries around the world. "The priority for both Gunz Dental and 3i is to ensure that the transitional period be as seamless as possible for our valued customers," said Gunz Dental managing director Trevor Martin. "Gunz Dental will continue to supply 3i products until July 30. 3i Australia will take over operations from August 2 and to help ensure a smooth transition, most of the current 3i team will take up positions with 3i Australia from August 1." Mr Martin said that further details of the future supply of 3i implants would by advised by 3i Australia. "Gunz Dental looks forward to continuing to supply the requirements of every dental practice in Australia and New Zealand from our extensive range of clinical materials and consumables, equipment, laboratory and orthodontic products."
