Implant manufacturer, 3i, opened the doors to its newly established Australian operation on August 1 following a long and successful relationship with Gunz Dental.
"The move to our own operation has been a seamless transition due to our strong relationship with Gunz and our loyal 3i customers who have supported the product over many years," said Lisa Collie, the new general manager of 3i in Australia.
"While 3i products have been available here for many years, 3i has not had an Australian base. This is an exciting move for the dental profession as 3i is one of the world's leading companies in the oral reconstruction market with an enviable reputation for superior service and continuous product innovation."
Ms Collie launched the 3i range in Australia for Gunz back in 1992 and in her new role as general manager, she heads a team of highly motivated, experienced people.
Ms Jennifer Cole will be responsible for the NSW and ACT territories and for assisting with training new 3i Australia team members. Ms Jennifer Smith will head up Victoria and Tasmania, while Anja Fischer will be responsible for Queensland. Maria D'Arro, who has been supporting 3i customers for over 5 years in her role in 3i Customer Service, will also join the 3i Australia team. Staff are also currently being recruited in South Australia and Western Australia.
"3i Australia will offer the same innovative products, high standards of customer service and technical support for which our company is renowned. We have a comprehensive range of Training and Educational Programs planned and our Territory Managers are trained to deal with both technical and clinical issues.
"Equally, our Customer Service team have extensive technical knowledge. Plus we offer a warranty program that is second to none. At 3i Australia we're committed to working with our customers as a partner that they can count on in every way."
